This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper with its smooth, acid free surface, is a great option for framing. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
Robert Delaunay (1885–1941) One of the first artists to introduce vibrant color into Cubism and cofounded, along with his wife Sonia Delaunay, the art movement eventually known as Orphism, French painter Robert Delaunay was an important figure in 20th century art. Unfortunately, he is often overshadowed by his contemporaries such as Picasso, Matisse and Braque. His key influence related to bold use of color, and a clear love of experimentation of both depth and tone.
